Minimal Invasive Piles Surgery
What is Hemorrhoids or Piles?

Hemorrhoids are cluster of veins, which develop under the skin of anus. Hemorrhoids or piles extend from inside the anus (internal hemorrhoids) to outside the anus (external hemorrhoids). They are caused by increased pressure on related veins. Pregnancy, long sittings on toilet, long term constipation, long term diarrhoea, liver diseases etc cause them to enlarge.

Everyone has hemorrhoids, but not everyone is bothered by them. Minimally invasive techniques are good option for treating internal hemorrhoids, since that area has nerve ending for pressure but not for pain. Navkar Surgical Hospital have top surgeon for piles surgery.

Some Minimal invasive surgeries are:
  • Banding
The internal hemorrhoid is lifted up and a tiny rubber band dropped it, it effectively chocks it off and scarring it down.
  • Stapled Hemorrhoidectomy (PPH)
A ring of rectal tissue above the internal hemorrhoids is cut out and stapled together, taking the hemorrhoids up and cutting off their blood supply. This surgical procedure is very effective for patients with large circumferential internal hemorrhoids. Stapled Hemorrhoidectomy takes place in the operation theater under spinal or general anesthesia.
  • Unfortunately, external hemorrhoids cannot be treated with “painless” techniques because the skin over them is very sensitive.
  • Hemorrhoidectomy
Traditional surgery for hemorrhoids involves cutting out an ellipse of skin over the hemorrhoids treatment (usually both the internal and external parts) and sewing them up in a straight line. This surgery is found very effective, but because of high discomfort colon and rectal surgeons, provides them only who truly need it.
